FAG Vipdens D200 Pre-press transmition Desktop version

This black/white transmission densitometer supplies transparency measurements of continuous-tone, line and screened half-tone films in reproduction and phototypesetting work. It can measure densities up to D 6.00 and dot percentages (positive or negative) with an accuracy of +/- D 0.01.

The large measurement table has an illuminated surface of 37.5 x 31 cm, and the measurement arm is 32 cm long. Zero setting is automatic, and the slope factor is adjusted and tested by pushbutton operation. No screwdriver, no potentiometer!

The three measuring diaphragms of 1 mm, 2 mm and 3 mm diameter, and the slit diaphragm (for phototypesetting) are interchangeable simply and rapidly.

The FAG VIPDENS D200 stands out due to its up-to-date CMOS microprocessor technology, and its accuracy and stability. It is provided with RS 232 output allowing it to be linked to a computer system for recording and processing of the measurement data.

FAG Vipcam 122 CTP Plate Densitometer

This CTP-device guarantees accurate and quick quality control of computer to plate technologies and traditional prepress processes. With its built-in video camera it reads and analyses geometrically the dot area of each field with conventional or stochastic screening. It is also capable of measuring the dot diameter, screen angle and ruling, as well as the logarithmic visual area.
